In the next few months I am going to present to all tea bag folding enthusiasts the experiences I have had with this hobby. This is an exciting move for me because I want to establish a permanent place on the Internet to share tips and ideas for other paper folders.
My presence on the web has been Paperfacets since 2005 when I opened a shop on Etsy. Sherry Venegas is my working name since marrying in 1981. This website is going to be all about making cards, embellishments and exploring what I have come to call flat unit origami. During my hours at Claremont Farmers Market I have found that it is easier to describe what I was displaying as flat unit origami.
I started tea bag folding in 2002 and have made hundreds of greetings and paper items to sell and give away. Beginning the pursuit was all about the rosette and the varied colors that popped with each new completed medallion. Now I want to talk and share with you the patterns, ideas and tricks I have learned along the way.
I certainly am looking forward to exchanging our ideas with experienced folders and the very new ones too. A whole story I’ve written about my tea bag folding craft involvement is here.
